Sample Response 1

Undoubtedly, it is a major desire of every young professional to have a successful career to support their family and enjoy a respectable lifestyle. Some even consider it crucial enough to rightfully claim a major portion of one’s time; however, others think that giving family adequate time is more important. Although I agree that time spent with loved ones helps one to relax, priority should be given to work as it can be more instrumental in providing basic amenities of life to family members.

Usually, a person feels more relaxed while in the company of his family members and friends. This is because, firstly, he can share his problems with his own people and can get some honest solutions. Secondly, one can catch a break from the daily hectic routine and enjoy quality time with their loved ones. For instance, a recent report by BBC News revealed that about 70% of the working class prefers to spend time with their families instead of doing extra work at their job places, as it is more satisfying for them. Therefore, some people consider it to be more vital to spend time with their relatives and friends than working on their goals.

However, a section of society including me believes that more time should be allocated to work for building a successful career. That is to say, to make a name in a field, one has to put in a lot of effort and time. If a person does not give priority to his work over family, he may not achieve the requisite targets for reaching a prominent position in an organization. Thereafter, a person can afford to finance their children’s education, healthcare for their families, and other luxuries of life. Therefore, giving time to work is crucial for both a successful career and affording a reasonable lifestyle.

To conclude, although I consider a person should spend reasonable time with friends and family members to rejoice, more focus and hours need to be spent to excel in their field as it is instrumental to living a decent and comfortable lifestyle.

Sample Response 2

It is commonly believed that achieving a successful career is the ultimate goal in life. However, some people argue that spending quality time with loved ones should be prioritized over professional success. In this essay, I will explore both sides of the argument and provide my opinion on the matter.

On the one hand, those who prioritize their careers argue that achieving professional success is crucial in today’s competitive world. They believe that a successful career can provide financial stability, job satisfaction, and a sense of accomplishment. Moreover, they argue that dedicating time to their career helps them develop their skills, learn new things, and gain valuable experiences. As a result, they can contribute more to society and create a better life for themselves and their families.

On the other hand, advocates for spending time with friends and family believe that relationships with loved ones are essential to a happy and fulfilling life. They argue that spending time with family and friends helps to strengthen bonds, reduce stress, and provide emotional support during challenging times. Furthermore, they argue that memories made with loved ones are invaluable and can never be replaced. Therefore, they suggest that individuals should prioritize spending time with their loved ones over their careers.

In my opinion, both views have their merits, and the choice between the two depends on an individual’s personal circumstances. While professional success can provide financial stability and job satisfaction, it should not come at the expense of one’s relationships with loved ones. Similarly, spending time with family and friends should not be an excuse for being complacent in one’s career. One can strive to excel in their career while also maintaining strong relationships with loved ones.

In conclusion, whether to prioritize a successful career or spending time with family and friends is a personal decision that depends on an individual’s values and circumstances. While it is important to work towards a successful career, it is equally important to maintain strong relationships with loved ones. Ultimately, finding the right balance between the two is crucial for a fulfilling and happy life.

Sample Response 3

In today’s fast-paced world, people often find themselves torn between the desire to build a successful career and the need to spend quality time with their loved ones. While both perspectives have their merits, I firmly believe that investing time in developing a successful career is more important than spending time with friends and family. In this essay, I will discuss both views and provide evidence to support my opinion.

On the one hand, those who advocate for spending time with loved ones believe that relationships are the cornerstone of a happy and fulfilling life. They argue that nurturing relationships with family and friends is essential to maintaining mental and emotional well-being. Moreover, they claim that spending time with loved ones creates lasting memories that enrich our lives and provide a sense of purpose. For instance, many people value the opportunity to attend their children’s extracurricular activities, take family vacations, and celebrate important milestones with loved ones.

On the other hand, supporters of building a successful career believe that investing time in one’s professional development is crucial for long-term success and financial stability. They argue that a fulfilling career can provide a sense of purpose, personal satisfaction, and financial rewards. Moreover, they claim that investing in one’s professional development can lead to greater job opportunities, increased earning potential, and career advancement. For instance, many successful individuals dedicate time to furthering their education, networking with industry professionals, and honing their skills through practice and training.

In my view, spending time to develop a successful career is more important than spending time with friends and family. While nurturing relationships with loved ones is essential, it is equally important to ensure financial stability and career advancement. A successful career can provide a strong foundation for a fulfilling and meaningful life. For example, it can enable us to provide for our families, pursue our passions, and give back to society. Moreover, a successful career can also inspire our loved ones and set a positive example for future generations.

In conclusion, while spending time with family and friends is important, I believe that investing time in developing a successful career is more important. A successful career can provide financial stability, personal satisfaction, and a sense of purpose. Moreover, it can inspire our loved ones and set a positive example for future generations. Therefore, I encourage individuals to prioritize their professional development while also nurturing relationships with loved ones.
